Sensational story just for you
Story of Soubari
There lived a sage by name soubari and he was deeply engrossed in tapas from 10,000 or more years.(OMG –so is it all that difficult)and he was in a forest and once when he opened his eyes he saw two huge beautiful snakes engrossed in a deep sexual embrace and this made him so dejected that he could get distracted so he shifted into the ocean and continued tapas but after a thousand years he again, one day opened his eyes and saw a fish couple enjoying and he was distracted ,tempted to such an extent that he gave up tapas and wanted to experience all the sensual pleasures so set off to meet the king of the place.
The king ruling the place was known by the name –Mandatha and he had 50 beautiful daughters, all so intelligent, educated, very beautiful, graceful and a king for their father (don’t know how many wives)
To such a palace the sage came and the king gave him a befitting welcome-all customary rituals and after all the formalities the sage revealed the purpose of his visit which shocked the king beyond words as the sage looked at least 100 (while actually he was many many years old)and the king hit upon a plan.
King Mandatha said –“ho sage, it is the tradition of our kingdom to give total freedom to the maiden and she selects the groom of her choice so, you have to be selected and as per the choice the wedding takes place.”
After this exchange, king ordered the chamberlain to escort the sage into the queen’s palace; he sent word to the queen and the daughters to welcome the sage.
Sage soubari appreciated the king’s dilemma and changed himself into a very handsome, graceful, young eligible bachelor and was led into the inner chamber of the queen as per the direction of the king himself.
The queen and her daughters all were in a commotion as word had reached them that an aged suitor was sent in and all the daughters were to see the sage and could be selected by any of them.
The sage was led into the huge beautifully decorated garden and from the inner chambers the princess saw the suitor and without the other princess knowing all the 50 daughters wished to marry the sage(pity –whom the sage or daughters ?!! –the further story will tell)
Now the king had no choice but to keep his words and so all 50 daughters were married off to the sage and what a sight it must have been? The sumptuousness of luncheon and grandeur of the unique groom, brides, brides maid, etc which had no comparison was a great event to be recalled for centuries to come.
What happened latter?
Was the sage happy? What about the 50 daughters who were his wives?
Was the king at peace after this wedding?
After few years the king thought it his duty to visit his daughters to find out about them as none of them came to visit or sent word to the parents. Were they alive and happy or dead and beyond pain?
The king –Mandatha went into the place where the sage lived and was amazed to find a palatial city – with no match and his wonder led him into the first citadel which incidentally was the palace of the first daughter who was happy beyond words to meet the king –her father and the king was really pleased looking at the radiance on her face which told the bliss that resided in the abode as well.
The king was well received by son –in-law -sage and daughter and after all the formalities the sage left the father and daughter to them selves and then the daughter was asked by the king –“Are you so happy that you forgot your parents ?
The daughter said-“Yes, father but my only worry is –about my other 49 sisters. The king was shocked and immediately asked what fate had befallen the other daughters?
The eldest daughter said-“My husband loves me so much that he never leaves me and he is never with my other sisters so I am worried about them and am unable to do anything for their sake. “Father, please see what can be done and if possible advise my husband to give equal time and attention to all of us.”
The king was realty upset and worried but he went in into the next palace and the exact replica of the first citadel greeted him there too and of course all the fifty palaces too had same story. So was the king happy, surprised or worried or struck dumb?
The sage –soubari had used the power of his tapas to create so many – un believable feats, un imaginable facts at his palace city. The king saw and verified all that and was so upset, unhappy and felt he was doomed. Why did he think so? What occurred next?
For10, 000 years the sage and his wives lived so blissfully and had great grand children and a huge lineage. But as fate would have it –one of his great great grand child drove a car too slow and was killed and the whole family for the first time experienced death, sorrow and this shocked each one of them.
The whole family beseeched the sage to revive and bring back life to the boy and what occurred next?
The sage was mystified and his wives all came together and recalled their happy lives and if the sage could make 50 copies of himself, keep all of them happy, satisfied and stop their ageing then the sage was capable of much more.
But alas the sage realized the folly of running after sensual pleasures so he wanted to put an end to all that and go back on to the path of enlightenment.
He decided enough was enough –he had enjoyed pleasure to the maximum with 50 wives for thousands of years. And also had the fortune of playing with children, grand children and their children.
His family implored him to change his decision to go back unto the path of renunciation but he transformed them into higher beings and they too showed eagerness to go into states of bliss.
So the sage along with his 50 wives went into the forest to be one with nature and get into meditative states.
Moral of the story: Marry 50 wives
Make a copy of yourself and then marry 50 plus
Marry 50 and live for a long time
Live long and marry 50.
Take life as it comes!
